Bathing in icy Baltic waves; the first breath of fresh air in the morning after unzipping the tent; boletus, found somewhere in the middle of the dzukia; the last bend in the river, at the end of the kayak route. These things and a bunch more are what define LANDSCAPES.
Things that tell stories about Lithuania.
LANDSCAPES as an idea was born about seven years ago. I started developing the idea somewhere, in the far corner of my head, while I was still studying for a bachelor's degree at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, I nurtured it during my master's studies at the Politecnico di Milano University, Italy, and after adding a few more years, it finally matured into the form you see now.
Using the experiences through which I understand Lithuania and Lithuanianness, the experiences that we all share, I create things that sort of "preserve" those moments and allow them to be transferred to our environment, our homes.
